The metal clips that come with the Barrina 4FT LED T5 Integrated Single Fixture from Amazon are surprisingly fragile and include a screw that barely exceeds half an inch. This is woefully inadequate for making a lasting connection through drywall on a garage ceiling. Using a larger screw will only serve to obstruct the head, rendering it impossible for the clip to secure the fixture. Undeterred by this shortcoming, I designed a custom clip suitable for drywall or deck screws, ensuring that it can accommodate two fixtures connected via the included electrical connector. This versatile clip is perfect for use at either end of a strip or between two fixtures. Please note that the addition of this clip will necessitate an extra 4mm between the ceiling and fixture to allow for the screw head used. Lightweight fixtures make installation a breeze, allowing you to start with a single clip at one end and then add another clip at the opposite end, spaced evenly between the next fixture. There's no need for precise measurements when installing along a straight line - a single screw into wood per clip will securely hold the fixture in place. This print is remarkably straightforward, requiring no complex maneuvers. I printed my test piece at 50% infill using ABS material and chose blue as the color. For final prints, however, I opt for white to ensure seamless integration with the ceiling and fixture.
