Clip Clamp to hold two parts together
thingiverse
I initially designed this clip clamp to hold two parts together without screws. It didn't quite meet my requirements for strength in its intended application, so I made adjustments. Initially, I had only five variables, but as I continued to refine the design, it grew to nineteen. This clip can also be used with hole-punched paper; I plan to test that on a calendar next week using a three-hole punch. This design can be customized in the Thingiverse customizer. In my OpenSCAD file, there are four rotate_extrudes that were originally less than 360 degrees. However, the Thingiverse customizer has limitations with these types of rotations, so I added some extra cube cutouts to work around this issue. I've attached a dimensioned image of the part, highlighting its five main variables. Additionally, I've included four different STL files showcasing various design possibilities.
