Clip clamp for 10x10mm square tube/rod
thingiverse
A simple, tool-less clip clamp designed specifically for attaching 10x10mm square aluminum tube or balsa/spruce material. This innovative clip securely holds twin tail booms to the wing of a plane with a reassuring click and minimal risk of coming loose. The boom's front end inserts snugly into the provided connector part. To complete the assembly, both pieces are attached to the foam core of the wing using adhesive. To function correctly, a 2mm x 16mm bolt is required for hinge assembly, in addition to carefully trimming off excess material as illustrated in the accompanying photo. Successful printing was achieved on a Printrbot Simple Metal using PLA filament, yielding an exceptionally well-printed part with remarkable strength. Key print settings are summarized below. **Print Settings** - Printer Brand: Printrbot - Printer Model: Simple Silver - Rafting: Disabled - Support Generation: Disabled - Resolution: 0.2mm layer thickness - Infill Density: 20% infill rate **Post-Printing Instructions** Following successful print completion, ensure that the hinge is securely fastened using a 2mm x 16mm bolt.
