A redesigned clinical thermometer features a small mercury-filled capillary tube within the glass tube. If the tube breaks, no mercury escapes. A rendering displays a temperature of 38.5°C. Another image shows the model on millimeter paper for easy dimension viewing. The triangular glass tube has rounded edges with a convex upper portion that functions like a magnifying glass lens for clear temperature readings. The thermometer is available in STEP file format, as well as native files for PTC Creo Parametric 2.0 and later versions.
