From the Washing Machine to the Sea... A project born to showcase a wider audience how the sea and all that lives with it can be polluted by a simple t-shirt. Everyday clothes we use, passing through the washing machine, carry microplastics along with them. Once abandoned in water, these pollutants reach our seas, polluting not only the waters but also beaches and animals. A project born at the European Institute of Design, FA/RE, where many students participated, shows how everything can be recycled.
