My investigation into climate change began by examining its impact on human health. I chose to focus on the connection between this phenomenon and the well-being of humanity. Rising temperatures lead to an increase in numerous diseases and exacerbate existing conditions, resulting in the development of cancers such as melanoma. This also causes crop failures, leading to food shortages worldwide, particularly in impoverished nations where people succumb to hunger and children struggle to grow due to malnutrition. Furthermore, climate change is responsible for a surge in natural disasters like floods and fires, claiming lives and destroying homes and infrastructure, leaving individuals without shelter.
