The Thermal Flashlight (http://publiclaboratory.org/tool/thermal-photography) houses an Arduino and a touchless thermometer, displaying temperature in color via its 3.3V power source from four AA batteries. Designed around an Adafruit permaproto board (https://www.adafruit.com/products/571), it features a snap-together case for the Adafruit board, LCD, and battery holder. However, this 1.0 version has some minor issues like inadequate sensor coverage, rigid connectors, small cable space, and a power switch mount that requires glue. This DIY project is dedicated to Cliff.
