Cliff of Chaos - Magic Tracks, Neo Tracks, etc
thingiverse
Welcome to the Cliff of Chaos! Climb the Cliff of Chaos and drive across the rope bridge to avoid making a splash in the deep, rapid waters. Check it out here: https://youtu.be/jpJmlUkhDe0 I had to modify this design several times to make both sides of the cliff stay put while cars drive across. The water and pillars do a good job of keeping everything in place. I made the pillars slightly taller to hopefully eliminate the little bit of movement that can be seen in the video on the right cliff. Print Instructions: The bridge must be printed at 0.1 mm height. It's okay to make the first layer height 0.2 mm for better adhesion. You can also try 0.15 mm, but I've never done it. If you do, make sure the first layer height is 0.15 or 0.3 mm. Print the bridge with 100% infill. I printed everything else at 0.2 mm with 2 shells and 10% infill. The cliffs require support for the section where the magic tracks connect. No other support is needed for the other pieces. I swapped out filaments when I printed the pillars. Pause the height at 8.0 mm if you want to change filaments while writing. Things to Print: 2 ramps 2 pillars 1 bridge 1 water 1 water bank This design is my largest yet, now that I'm no longer limited by the MP Mini's small print bed size. The water bank is the biggest piece with dimensions of 211 x 108 x 11 mm. Feel free to ask any questions. Enjoy!
