Holds your bits in place. Stores up to 6 ¼ in bits, with 1 in long bits sitting flush in the cylinder. Parts Needed:1x 40mm m3 screw (partially threaded preferred)1x m3 nut1x m3 washer (optional but recommended)1x spring (pen sized for partially threaded rods, slightly wider for threaded)1x 006 o-ring (or loctite, or locking m3 nut/washer)1-3x 116 o-ring (or appropriately sized rubber band, spring ring, etc)4x neo magnets, 4mm diameter 2mm heightinstructions:-Stretch 116 o-rings over main cylinder, and into the groove in the middle. Ive found that 3x 116 o-rings gives a good degree of retention, but vary as desired.-press 006 o ring into the m3 nut shaped hole on the top of the main cylinder.-flip main cylinder over and drop spring and washer into the central shaft hollow of cylinder.-insert all 4 magnets into the 2 notches on the pusher grip. all magnets should point in the same direction, so that the magnets repel each other. Cover the holes with your fingers. -carefully insert pusher into the main cylinder. push m3 screw through the bottom of pusher grip and through the 006 o-ring on the main cylinder.-screw m3 nut onto top of main cylinder. push m3 screw downwards to seat m3 screw into hole on top of main cylinder.-adjust screw tightness to as tight as possible without the pusher snagging on the inside of the cylinder. Tips:The magnet slots are slightly oversized in the z axis. If you are encountering issues with the magnets escaping and binding, scale down the z axis of the pusher a couple percent. Tolerances get a bit demanding on pivoting components. You can adjust the width of the pusher barrel a few microns by finger polishing it with superglue, or by sanding.Under diametered springs will bind on threaded m3 screws. Consider wider springs, a partially threaded screw shaft, or a sleeve over the threads.Insert magnets easily by sticking two together on the sides, creating a figure 8 shape. stick one magnet into the magnet slots on the pusher, rotate 180, then push the second magnet in.
