Clickgear Wineglass Clamp
prusaprinters

This holder clips onto the accessory mounts found on Clickgear and Rovic brand golf trolleys and securely holds a wineglass.

The two pieces are assembled with M3 screws, which are also used as end stops and rubber band anchors. The rubber band keeps the mechanism closed, whilst also allowing one handed access to remove the glass. You have to feed the band through the hole in the finger piece and then fish it through the body to anchor it on the M3 screw on the right side of the device. The two screws inserted from the bottom act as the pivot and the endstop / reinforcement on the open end of the claw.

Despite being developed as a joke, it does even function well enough to be used on fairways while the trolly is in motion, but don't rely on it to keep your glassware safe while tackling larger bumps on paths with roots and other debris for example.

When used with larger glasses the center of gravity of the glass can become a problem, but it's fine if your glass isn't full or if you prefer prosecco or champagne.
