[Patent Pending] Latest Flight Test Video of Click! Adapters V0.9.23 by Zevi Rubin! ====2015/06/11 Added New Propeller Sizes!!! As a new multi-rotor pilot, I'm excited to share my solution to the frustration of broken props and lost screw caps. My goal was to create a better, more convenient prop adapter. Here are the features I aimed for: Quickly change props with no tools required. No need for tightening or human strength. Will not break in mid-air like prop savers often do. Won't break before the prop breaks during crashes. Designed to sit on top of standard M5 Prop Adapters, locked down with a nut. This adapter is almost final; I'd love your feedback to improve it further. Join me in the PTR process (Print, Test, Report) and help refine this design for fellow pilots/printers! ===Tests=== Test and report back on these key areas for safety: Check the clip + unclip mechanism [DONE] Check that the clip holds under varying loads [DONE] Test flight characteristics [Thrust][Flight Controller Sensors][Maneuverability][Vibrations] [DONE] ===Part Updates === April 3, 2015: Added thicker base to clear non-threaded section. April 3, 2015: Rotated parts for ideal printing directionality. April 5, 2015: Adjusted tolerances and thicknesses. Improved M5 Nut fit. ===Post Updates=== April 3, 2015: Started test list and ran stress/displacement simulations. May 20, 2015: Zevi Rubin created an explanation video for V0.9.23 Click! Adapters on 5030 - VIDEO ===Credits=== Thanks to Redditors who contributed to the design discussion!
