The Cleveron Self Service Parcel Terminal is an innovative solution featuring sliding drawers that use triple roller drawer glides for smooth operation. Despite the initial renderings, this design aims to showcase a convenient and efficient parcel storage system with minimal jamming issues. The drawers are equipped with lids that slide along their outer top edges, ensuring they don't dislodge when opened. There is no risk of interference between drawers or getting stuck due to the well-thought-out design. The unique chassis system offers cost savings by using identical components for all chassis, further reducing costs by standardizing components across drawer sizes. These modular systems can hold one large, two medium, or four small drawers and are easily swappable from the front of the terminal by accessing rail-mount screws after removing the drawers. The terminal also features a security camera and overhead lights for added safety and convenience. All drawer components are made from 20ga. steel, while solenoid mounts can be fashioned from 12ga. stamped and bent materials. To address security concerns, non-standard drawer glides can prevent user disassembly, while an additional solenoid in the chassis can lock it into the terminal for technician-only removal. A timer can also be set to limit maximum drawer open time, with audible warnings and alarms to discourage tampering and hardware removal.
