The statue stands as one of the only seven depictions of Cleopatra to have survived from ancient times. Its body form showcases archaizing features, deliberately designed to evoke memories of the many generations that ruled Egypt under Cleopatra's family. This artwork doubles as a political statement, using art to convey a powerful message. The face itself holds secrets of its true date, while intricate details reveal the identity of the queen portrayed. For instance, the triple cobra diadem was a hallmark of Cleopatra's regalia. Date: 51-30 BCE A 3D model of this statue was painstakingly recreated using RealityCapture and Blender software from 153 images captured on a Canon 5D Mark III camera by Joshua Norman.
