Cleat holder, alling tool
thingiverse
I get frustrated when I need to nudge an installed cleat just a little bit, but it always slips back into the pushed grooves - no way can I hold it in place just a hair to one side. That's why I created this thing. Inspired by the Ergon TP1 Cleat tool, I designed something that solves my problem. I was also always confused about which direction to twist the cleat for the desired change in rotation when my shoe is flipped upside down - that's why I added a note to the tool. The sides of the cleat block are cut to allow the cleat installation up to the side of the sole, giving me more room to accurately mark the position of the cleat for replacement or adjustment. After printing, you can fill the text and arrows on the bottom with an alcohol marker to give it a more professional look. If your print doesn't fit perfectly - either too loose or too tight - go back to the OnShape project and adjust the value there to get it just right.
