I've redesigned a Clear Tone Mute for trumpets, inspired by one I used with my band. The original is the *NEW STONE LINED* model made by Humes & Berg in East Chicago, USA. My proposal uses three materials - aluminum sheet metal, brass, and cork - with a 2-component adhesive for secure fastening. While more expensive to manufacture, it offers various appearance options through anodized aluminum colors such as black, red, or gold. Share your thoughts or feedback on this design!
