Clear Sailing Hull

This text explains geometry for creating a print of a hull. The printed pattern was used to cast a negative in silicone, which can then produce a kiln-capable plaster positive. A plaster version of this hull was subsequently used to slump a glass sculpture. The instructions for the silicone casting process are available on Instructables at http://www.instructables.com/id/Using-Silicone-Caulking-to-Make-Molds/.
