Hello! I designed a custom Longboard in Fusion360 to be precision-milled on my MPCNC machine. The main deck features standard 21mm Multiplex wood, which provides a solid foundation for the entire board. A sturdy carbon rod, measuring 10x10x700mm, is embedded within the deck, offering flexibility to swap it out for aluminum or stainless steel alternatives as desired. This Longboard boasts an optimized size perfect for travelers who need to navigate trains and buses with ease. The Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) setup for the MPCNC is already complete, streamlining the milling process. If you have any questions about this project, feel free to ask! The onboard battery pack consists of 12S2P 18650 cells, carefully soldered to create a flexible design showcased in one of the attached images. A built-in Battery Management System (BMS) safeguards the cells from overcharge or discharge. I'm utilizing Vesc controllers and hub motors for their sleek aesthetic appeal, ensuring a clean look that complements the board's overall design. Additionally, the Longboard features a MOSFET switch and an integrated voltage display for seamless monitoring of the system's performance. This innovative project is fully open-sourced, inviting collaboration and modification from enthusiasts worldwide!
