Clean Edges on Overhangs Test Square
thingiverse
I'm conducting a rapid test to identify overhangs on all four corners. I'm on the hunt for an error that causes broken areas on prints with slight upward overhangs. My printers can handle two out of four tests just fine, but two squares exhibit broken edges along the overhangs. Either it's the front two that are damaged or two on the sides, or possibly the two in the back - I'm not sure what's going on. I've been searching for this issue for months now and still can't crack the code. The 0.2mm layer at the bottom is designed for easy removal and logging of settings used. Try printing with a 0.1 or up to 0.2 layer height, and see if you get clean and sharp edges on all four corners. Each print uses 2 grams of filament and takes approximately 10 minutes.
