Clay Texas Star Rotating Axis Joint
thingiverse
This is a rotating axis joint I created for a Texas star clay target, specifically designed for five clays. It utilizes two 22mm skateboard bearings in its construction. The wooden sticks required can be sourced from Home Depot or any other hardware store and measure approximately 14mm by 17.5mm in size. The clay holders can be obtained through the link provided to Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2369862. This joint was printed on a Maker Select v2 at 215 degrees Celsius with 1.2mm wall thickness and top/bottom layers. I have incorporated end caps into this design, along with a skeet holder featuring a loop in the rear for securing with a zip tie. A zip tie-less design is currently under development. The end caps can also be used to create standing skeet targets by attaching them to a stick and inserting it vertically into the ground. To achieve optimal results, scale up the design by 1%. Happy shooting!
