Clay Shrine
myminifactory
The ancient structure now lies broken from its original form, a much larger clay edifice that likely honored a fertility deity of great importance. Two identical female figurines, crafted in the same deep mold, adorn its facade with their serene presence. Each figure is pregnant and tenderly cradles her breasts within her arms, while black paint meticulously defines the contours of their eyes, hair, and pubic triangle. This magnificent work of art dates back to approximately 11-10th Century BC.
