I sought a device to even out polymer clay uniformly in thickness. This roller produces clay with a consistent 0.2-inch thickness, or 5.08 millimeters precisely. The roller can be easily adapted to achieve varying thicknesses. Two machine screws are required: For users who work with imperial measurements: one-quarter by three-quarters of an inch For those who work in the metric system: M6 x 20 millimeters Screws shorter than four-tenths of an inch (10 millimeters) may not produce reliable results.
