Claw lids spool holder
cults3d
This spool holder requires nothing more than a spare 8mm rod piece to function smoothly and precisely, despite lacking a ball bearing. I added various models of claw caps, allowing you to swap between them based on the size of your spools. They typically click into place without needing glue to stay put. Once you've finished printing a spool, simply remove the claw caps and install them onto the new one. One claw cap is designed to rotate in one direction, while the other rotates in the opposite way. Make sure to pay attention to the rotation direction and mount them as shown in the picture. For more details, check out the video provided. After printing and installing this spool holder, be sure to share your finished product by posting pictures. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pyxolriGxsk Recommended settings: - 3 top layers - 3 bottom layers - 3 shells - 0.3 mm layer height - 15% infill - PLA (ABS is not recommended due to its tendency to crack)
