This new “Claw” design also has a quick release connector built in to the attachment plate.You will need a length of .1" pitch header strip (as used for Arduino and similar devices) to make the connector. Cut off a 3 pin section and the socket section will slide into the slot in the attachment plate. Use the minimum length of wire from the attachment plate servo to connect the Red & Black wires to two of the header sockets, and run extra lengths of Red & Black wire up the new Arm into the MiniSkidi. The attachment plate servo Yellow wire (sugnal) goes straight up the Arm, while the third socket is used for the “Claw” Yellow wire. Both servos now share the Red & Black power wires. The socket header section is then glued in to the attachment plate so that it aligns with the yop face. be careful not to get glue into the connectors. Again, use the minimum length of wire possible to connect the new “Claw” servo to the header strip pins making sure to use the same connection order you used on the header socket. After soldering, use some epoxy glue to cover the wires and add a paint spot to the epoxy and the attachment plate to show which way round you plug it in.The new “Claw” design has fingers on both the fixed and moving parts, and the modified Arm has the wiring slot widened to accomodate the wiring from the quick release connector as well as having the old top surface wiring slot removed.The main photo shows this Remix on my MiniSkidi which has been modified to use a conventional 8 channel radio control system, including a FPV system with a tilting camera so that the operator can see through the roof slots of the revised driver cage to view the load when the Arms are raised.
