Claughreid Farm 1, Dumfries & Galloway

Located at the upper end of the glen near Kirkdale and Cairnholy, Claughreid is situated on the east side of the burn. In 2004, ACFA uncovered a new panel south of the farmhouse. The original GPS reading placed it about 300 meters off, but after re-discovery, the ScRAP team documented this site. The panel features four faces, each divided by natural fissures. The two eastern faces display clear cups with multiple rings. In contrast, the western face has a series of grooves in an unusual pattern without any dominant motifs.
