Claudia v0.1 Electric Violin
thingiverse
Here is the rewritten text: Meet Claudia: a violin designed entirely by me, combining my likes and dislikes from models I've seen online. It's my first attempt at 3D design, so don't expect it to be perfect. But I kept it minimalist to the extreme, with no aesthetic features whatsoever. 100% functional and comfortable. Pros: * As a minimalist, it's light enough for hours of playing. * The microphone connector behind the shoulder allows complete freedom of movement for the right arm. * A single axis for passing an 8mm carbon fiber rod, maintaining robustness. Adjust to taste. * The minimalism of the chin-rest was perfect in my opinion. * The cable connector next to the lateral EQ is very comfortable when adjusting with your left hand under the armpit. * The lower bow below the bridge makes it easy to transport. I curved it to ensure a snug fit in the index finger, and it performed better than expected. * Sliced into 4 parts for printing on 200mm printers (e.g. Anet A8). Cons: * I'm not entirely satisfied with the shoulder-rest. Although it's modular and could be swapped out. Notes for future upgrades: * Remove the modularity from the shoulder-rest, making it fixed. * Remove the mini-EQ, as it makes it too heavy to play for hours. * Enlarge the hole for the rod to use standard fiberglass rods of 8.5mm or 9mm.
