Classic Train Whistle with Solidworks 2014 source
thingiverse
The classic wooden multi-tone train whistle is now printable (I'd love to see this printed in wood). Instructions You will require some form of glue for this one, as I was unable to envision an alternative approach due to its design. I added the ears/tabs as a way for you to slide one over the other, allowing both flat pieces to be glued together and then clamped in place. The body will need sandpaper applied to the side with the tabs (the flat section), as I originally had each piece lying flat on the glass. However, with the need for glue, I added the tabs to facilitate proper placement of the pieces, resulting in a 180-degree turn that necessitates smoothing the top surface so both parts fit together seamlessly.
