I'll do it my way - that is, converting 3D models from native Sketchup 14 to all other formats requires an extra step: saving in .skp format followed by a conversion process. I created this 3D model specifically using the popular 3D design program, then exporting it as various other file types including OBJ, FBX, STL, and others. The scene is natively formatted for use with Autodesk's industry-standard software, 3ds Max 2016 version. However, to get the perfect lighting effect on my model, I chose to render it using Vray 3.00 from Chaos Group, a world-renowned leader in GPU-accelerated rendering solutions for the film, TV, and architecture industries. My rendition of the time-traveling vehicle is inspired by the beloved Fourth Doctor's trusty TARDIS as portrayed by actor Tom Baker, an iconic sci-fi design that has become synonymous with British pop culture and BBC television programming since the 1970s.
