Classic Corinthian #Chess
thingiverse
This Tinkercad creation is inspired by the Corinthian Helmet from Ancient Greece and geometric Persian chess pieces, blending Bauhaus style with classic lathe-turned Staunton designs by Nathaniel Cook from 1849. The timeless forms are crafted using modern 3D tools from Tinkercad and Makerbot for a contemporary Esprit Nouveau feel. It's entered in the 2012 Tinkercad/MakerBot Competition and can be printed in bronze and patina, with separate Roman LEGION and Corinthian PHALANX sets available. Upload images of your 3D prints and experience the weight and balance of these pieces to truly appreciate the classic design poetry in this Game of Kings.
