This mounting platform is specifically designed for use with the classic Arduino's Duemilanove, Diecimila, NG, and Uno, as well as any other boards that share its form factor. This mounting platform serves three primary purposes: - It acts as a spacer between the mounting surface and the board, providing 3.5 mm of clearance. - It prevents scratching of the mounting surface by the pins located underneath the board. - It prevents short-circuiting of the board's component pins when the mounting surface is metallic. The mounting holes on this platform are 3 mm in diameter and serve as pass-through holes. The overall dimensions of the mounting plate measure 2.7 inches (68.6 mm) x 2.10 inches (53.3 mm), with an overall height of 3.5 mm. The spacers that come with it have a height of 2.5 mm, and the base plate is 1 mm thick.
