<p>This is a mounting plate for the classic Arduino's Duemilanove/Diecimila/NG/Uno and any other ones that has the same form factor. This mounting plate serves three purposes:</p><ul><li>act as a spacer between the mounting surface and the board (3.5 mm)</li><li>prevent scratching the mounting surface with the pins underneath the board</li><li>prevent short-circuiting the board component pins if the mounting surface is metallic.<br>The mounting holes are 3 mm in diameter. They are pass-tru holes. The mounting plate is 2.7 inches (68.6 mm) x 2.10 inches (53.3 mm). Its overall height is 3.5 mm. The spacers are 2.5 mm in height. The baseplate is 1 mm thick.</li></ul>
