The EXP-EMG-12W-2L Explosion Proof Emergency Light from Larson Electronics is a reliable lighting solution rated Class 1 Division 1, Class 2 Division 1 & 2 for hazardous locations. With two 10 watt LED lamps powered by normal external power, it automatically switches to battery backup during power outages, providing 90 minutes of light. The LED lamps have no fragile components and offer instant illumination with cooler temperatures compared to fluorescent lights. An integral maintenance-free sealed high temperature Nickel-Cadmium battery powers the unit in emergencies, protected by solid state circuitry. Universal voltage capable (120V to 277V@ 50/60HZ), the EXP-EMG-12W-2L features an aluminum housing with up to ten years of operational life and can withstand temperatures from 0° to 50°C. An integrated pilot light indicates AC presence while a test switch confirms proper emergency operation.
