The Larson Electronics EPL-HB-150LED-RT-DLC Explosion Proof High Bay light fixture is a powerful, energy efficient alternative to traditional hazardous location luminaries that use LED technology and a compact design. It provides 13,000 lumens of high quality light while drawing only 150 watts and is Class 1 Division 1 & 2, Class 2 Division 1 & 2 explosion proof certified. The copper-free aluminum alloy body is powder coated for durability and aesthetics. Its heat dissipating design, in conjunction with LED technology, helps it achieve an excellent 60,000 hour rated lifespan with 80% lumen retention. It's lightweight, low profile design makes it an attractive alternative to larger, older fixtures requiring less hardware for installation. This explosion proof LED light fixture features multiple LED drivers that increase the operational life of the fixture. In contrast to traditional LED lights, in case of driver or LED failure, only one bank of LEDs will be affected while the others continue to operate. The absence of fragile housings and filaments in LEDs also makes them more reliable than traditional lamps with no warm-up or cool-down time. They run significantly cooler and have a more durable, stable, and energy efficient design. The light is universal voltage capable (100-277 VAC, 50/60Hz) and comes in low voltage versions operating on AC/DC voltages from 11-25 volts.
