<figure class="image image_resized" style="width:50%;"><img src="https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/8/8a/DogCow_from_LaserWriter_8.png" alt=""></figure><p>This is <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dogcow">Clarus the dogcow</a>, the <i>iconic</i> Apple Macintosh<i> icon</i>. It notably appeared in the classic Macintosh print dialog after being born as a glyph in <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Susan_Kare">Susan Kare</a>'s Cairo bitmap font in 1984.</p><p>While geometrically accurate, each individual pixel was scaled up 20% to create a 1mm overlap between each (at 100%) in order to achieve this free-standing and self-supporting shape.</p><h4>Print instructions:</h4><ul><li>Orientation: as per STL (flat, snout pointing left)</li><li>Infill: 15%, but can go pretty high.</li><li>Material: PLA</li></ul><p>Photos shown are of a 85% scaled down print to fit on my Original Prusa MINI bed.</p><h4>Changelog</h4><ul><li>2022-01-03: Added new optional ‘shoes' to make Clarus more stable while standing.<ul><li>Added <code>Clarus with shoes.stl</code></li><li>Added <code>Clarus with shoes_0.25mm_slow1stlayer_ironing_PLA_MINI_4h19m.gcode</code></li></ul></li></ul><h3>Moof!</h3>
