Clapper Slate
thingiverse
Clapper Slate (aka Clapperboard) is a single print, requiring no assembly. I searched for an authentic-looking clapper slate but couldn't find one, so I designed this based on typical cliché designs. The print needs supports that can be easily removed by pliers. To release the joint, insert a cutter or knife into the gap and twist it until it breaks apart. Model paint is recommended, but a permanent black marker will work just fine. A whiteboard marker can be used to write on the surface and should be erasable. The default size is 13cm by 11cm. New Clapper Slate XL uploaded, with a size of 22cm by 18cm. Print Settings: Printer - FlashForge; Rafts - No; Supports - Yes; Resolution - 0.3mm (I used this); Infill - Doesn't Matter. Notes: Requires Support; Higher print quality recommended for better letter visibility; Minimum tolerance is 0.3mm. Post-Printing: Remove Support - Use pliers to pull off support. Break Free the Joint - Insert a cutter or knife between gaps, twist until a snap sound for joint release. Colouring - Paint with model paint or permanent marker on board and letters.
