Clamshell Eye/Sunglasses Case

Clamshell Eye/Sunglasses Case

prusaprinters

A case made specifically for my matching pair of prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses, and not a bit larger.  Shock-cord (leftover from an elastic shoelace kit) is used to stitch the two pieces together and to form a closure.  Felt is hot-glued on the inside to prevent and scratches to the eyewear.  The elastic hinge has a nice springy snap into the closed position, but not difficult to keep open with one hand.  The models were design on OnShape (included as .stl), and then imported into Tinkercad to add the labeling (also included as .st).  As these were designed for my specific glasses, it made need to be resized or scaled to fit your eyewear.  The gcode is with the labeling, and includes a break for color change with my i3 MKS3+.
