Clamping Knob For M8 Nut

While packing for a family getaway the day following one of the locking knobs for the car's rooftop bike rack fractured. Since the locking knob secures an ordinary M8 nut, I could have simply used a wrench to tighten it; however, I chose to design and create a new one. This is a locking knob that holds an M8 nut and can be attached to a threaded rod with an M8 designation. This unique capability highlights the excitement of 3D printing – being able to manufacture your own spare parts as needed.
