Clamp with Ball Socket Joint

Clamp with Ball Socket Joint

I remixed the original Webcam mount by Teaching Tech to include an adjustable "C" clamp. I also added a larger base plate to the generic plate, enabling attachment to a piece of wood using wood screws. The component labeled "Bolt" will tightly thread through the large hole in the C clamp. Then, the part labeled "Bolt head" screws onto that from inside the clamp, providing more surface area for clamping to your item. The C clamp and Socket Mount have registration marks so they can be printed separately and glued together. Otherwise, you'll need to use a lot of support and lose some strength due to improper orientations. ***Update: January 24 - I adjusted all threaded pieces to thread style. Be warned that when printing the bolt, you may want to scale it down in your slicer by around 1-2% to add 3D print tolerance to the item. Additionally, I updated the registration marks for a better fit, but due to clearances during printing, it might be necessary to cut them off the Ball Socket entirely. Super Glue should hold without registrations.***
