Clamp Remix with 156DT Display Tower Socket
thingiverse
I was looking for a clamp I could print quickly. My first clamp was a print of the existing Altoids Shelf Clamp with a couple of 5UDC sockets I laid with it on the print plate. This clamp has a lot of surface area and is the right width for a 156DT Display Tower shaft socket. I recast the dimensions, made the nut hole a little bigger and cast it with a 156DT socket (also did a version with a 5UDC socket as it came in handy). The main 156DT parts library can be found here: https://www.printables.com/model/126509 The Kitcard instructions and parts library an be found here https://www.printables.com/model/126495 The Monopod information can be found here https://www.printables.com/model/144478 The 3/8" nut is still a little tight. The bolt I found in the house was a little short for clamping on a 3/4" table so I created a couple of bolt covers. Thanks Kwkstar for taking the time to design this clamp.
