Clamp-on Hardhat Flashlight Clip
youmagine
This is a customizable clip based on your snap-in flashlight clip, designed specifically for attaching a small flashlight to your hardhat to use as a headlamp. Two sturdy screws clamp the clip securely to the brim of a hardhat, providing a rock-solid attachment. Recognizing that not all hardhats come equipped with accessory slots, I created this one to ensure that slot-less users can still harness the power of light. To get started: Measure the diameter of your flashlight carefully. Customize the design by editing the SCAD file to fit your specific needs. Print out the clip using 100% infill for maximum strength and durability. I used 8-32 nuts and 1/2-inch long 8-32 machine screws, but you can modify the size of the nut traps and holes in the SCAD file to suit your preferences. Once complete, simply clamp the clip to your hardhat and snap in your trusty flashlight! The included STL file is compatible with my Sipik SK-68 clone and can be adapted to fit many different hard hat models.
