I sought a robust cup holder that could be securely attached to any table. Commercial versions of the spring-loaded type had left me underwhelmed, their flimsiness evident in numerous reviews. Moreover, I desired a design that was fully printable and easy to manufacture. After some research, I discovered a compact yet sturdy clamp that seemed like the perfect base for my project. By modifying the clip-on cup holder to work seamlessly with this new clamp, I managed to create a remarkably solid assembly. The original design's compatibility remained intact, but I did shorten the shaft and knob to minimize material usage. This revised version can now accommodate tables with thicknesses ranging from 23mm to 33mm.
