I redesigned the original clamp design because it was too restrictive to print on my Prusa i2, requiring hours of frustrating trials to adjust the printer settings. Frustrated by the challenges, I decided to abandon the original design and start from scratch. To make the new design work, I made some key modifications, including scraping out the insides of the clamp slightly to accommodate minor misalignments or issues with my printer's filament feeding. If you're experiencing similar problems, feel free to modify this design further using the provided SCAD file. Here are the print settings that worked for me: Printer: Custom Prusa i2 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: .25 mm layer height Infill: 15% After printing, be prepared for some minor scraping of plastic to remove any residue left behind by your printer's misbehavior in the hollow section. I created this part using OpenScad, a powerful design tool that allows for precise control over every detail.
