A DNA clamp, or sliding clamp, is a protein structure that promotes processivity during DNA replication. Clamp loaders are complexes that open and load clamps onto DNA; bacteriophage T4 clamp loader models with nucleic acid and an open clamp can be made using STL files created from PDB entry 3U60. VMD software assists in visualizing the complex, and parts can be fixed together using PVA glue. The seven STL files provided include various colors for easy assembly; follow included instructions to use MakerWare 2.2.2.89 on a Replicator 2 to print each part with standard resolution, 25% infill, and three shells, utilizing raft and supports.
