I'm really drawn to this z-axis indicator http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:920819 - I'd love to create a similar one that incorporates a dial gauge instead of the digital display. Unfortunately, thoxbui only shared the STL file, so I had to design my own in OpenSCAD. The X-rod spacing is set at 45 mm and the rods are 8 mm in diameter. You're more than welcome to use my SCAD file as a starting point and add your own probe mount design.
