Clamp for Xcarriage with LML8UU and no inserts

I opted for nuts over brass inserts because they allowed for a smoother carriage ride. The inserts had a tendency to warp the carriage excessively. Initially, I encountered issues with the clamp itself, as it was too substantial in diameter to accommodate the M3 screws I had on hand for the X-carriage. To rectify this situation, I modified the part to recess the screw heads, which resolved the problem. Another obstacle I faced was the cumbersome nature of the clamp, making it difficult to simultaneously hold both belts in place, secure the nuts, and drive the screw. To mitigate this issue, I decided to split the clamp and install each belt end separately before inserting the central screw. This modification alleviated some of the awkwardness associated with the original design. The complete OpenSCAD file has been provided for your convenience.
