Clamp for Tronxy X1 Control Box Base - No need to drill acrylic
thingiverse
I was hesitant to drill holes in the acrylic base of my X1, fearing it might crack or split under the pressure. (A bit overly cautious? Perhaps.) I designed these clamps to secure the base using holes drilled into the control box as shown. Installation: 1. Force an M4 nut into the nut holder, which may require a bit of effort due to its snug fit - consider printing it slightly larger if needed. 2. Use the L-shaped clamp to position and drill a hole large enough for an M4 screw. 3. Slide the nut holder over the screw and use it as a handle while gluing with super glue to secure the nut in place. 4. Release the screw and attach the clamp, ensuring it's firmly fastened to the base. 5. With a long enough screw, you can easily remove the printer from the base by loosening the screws. Required components: 2x printed clamp and nut holder 2x M4 screws of sufficient length 2x M4 nuts 2x M4 washers This clamp should be adaptable to various case/base/box designs.
