Clamp for Narishige micromanipulator
thingiverse
This is a replacement clamp part for a Narishige micromanipulator, and we had two manipulators with broken-off screw heads in the clamp base so they were useless. These parts replace the top part of the micromanipulator that holds a probe or microinjector or whatever you use with it. Print the clamp base, clamp top, and 2 knurled screws. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Printrbot Printer: Simple Black Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.1 mm Infill: 100% Notes: Some post printing is required to work the screws into their threaded holes, also the top of the clamp should pass the screws freely so some minor filing may be needed. And of course a well-calibrated printer is required to make a piece that will align with the manipulator. Post-Printing: Filing and working in of the screws are required. How I Designed This: I used the Thingiverse customizable Nut Job thing by Mike Linus to make the screw (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:193647), 123D Design was used to design the rest.
