This clamshell-compatible shelf accommodates a 3x4x3/8 inch microcontroller stand, such as Raspberry Pi Stand. It boasts vents within the edge strips for efficient horizontal and vertical circuit board ventilation through its open top and bottom. To install, download the STL file and 3D print the part measuring 4x4x5/16 inches. Secure it to your laptop clamshell with glue or double-sided tape, or fasten to an electronics rack using #4-40 machine screws and nuts. Slide in your microcontroller stand via its beveled edges and corners for a snug fit; remove it when not in use.
