I begun designing a military style individual weapon a few years ago but lost access to solidworks so couldnt finish it in its entirety. The rifle is finished however i also wanted to design an underbarrel mounted grenade launcher but couldnt finish it. The rifle is changed from right to left hand eject by swapping the cheek cover from the left to the right hand side. All controls are mirrored on either side of the rifle.It is chamber for 5.56 nato and will take stanag magazines, with automatic hold open on last shot fired and automatic bolt release when a magazine is inserted. With no magazine inserted, and then then working parts drawn to the rear the bolt will automatically lock open easing clearing of stoppages. There is a telescoping but stock to make shooting with or without body armour more combatable and the trigger mechanism has a "double" setting where a shot will be fired on pulling the trigger and a second will be fired on releasing the trigger, this is to enable quick double taps in CQB environments to defeat body armour
