Civilian Recurve Bow and Bracer

Civilian Recurve Bow and Bracer

myminifactory

This is a scaled-down, civilian version of the Faire Play Recurve Bow and Bracer released by Zheng3 to celebrate his Faire Play Kickstarter reaching its initial fundraising goal. The original bracer has been modified to fit snugly around a standard Barbie-style doll arm while maintaining compatibility with the classic Recurve Bow. Initially, I tried to print the original Recurve Bow, but even after making some adjustments, my printer hit the hard stops. It became apparent that Zheng Industries' forges were producing full-scale war bows designed to pierce enemy armor. To accommodate a smaller build plate (110mmx110mm), the civilian version of the bow has been scaled down 75% in length and width while retaining its original thickness for added strength. The loop for holding arrows and the indentation for the bracer have been kept at their original size, ensuring seamless compatibility with the original bracer. Additionally, the bow has been adapted for a right-hand draw. This set is ideal for characters who wield bows, such as Merida, Katniss/Gale, or the kids from Red Dawn (the original film).
