A pair of plastic fasteners securely hold this hanger in place by attaching to the quarter panel. This part deviates slightly from its factory counterpart, requiring a large flat-head screw to be driven into the fastener in order to secure the hanger. Homeowners are responsible for providing their own screws. Details regarding the specific type of screw required were not obtained as this modification was ultimately replaced with a pre-assembled hanger that included necessary fasteners.
